zurdeando por la red

¡Hola, mundo! I’m Dani

A man reading a book on a park in a European city, black and white

This site is supposed to be my cozy, nerdy corner of the Internet, where I babble and do some web-weaving. I tend to post in English and Spanish, depending on my mood or the topic, since sometimes it flows more naturally in one language or the other.

During the day, I work as space engineer (but mostly in software and simulation) at a small space company focused in space debris. During the night, I read and play around with my computer (like this blog or trying new programming languages or breaking my Linux set-up), playing some board games with friends (Wednesdays!) or watching some TV show or movie.

Although originally from Madrid, Spain, I am now based in Darmstadt, Germany, the Science City, after a stay of two years in Braunschweig, Germany. Despite this, my German is not very good yet. I also travel every year (for ~25 years) to spend some summer time in Asturias, in Northern Spain.

PS: My pronouns are he/him/él.

PSS: I am left-handed (zurdo), therefore the nickname and this blog’s name (“left-handing on the net”, in Spanish). My username (zurdala) is also a combination of the Spanish words and my full name.
